Printed labels gives a unique identity to a product, you can identify a particular product from several lookalikes of the product. Imagine that you went to the super market, when you choose a product, the first thing, you for is the label of the product, and if that label is not there on the product, it will be very difficult for you to choose the product, difficult for the retailer to bill that product. So, on the whole, printed labels provide an effective mean for the ease of the consumer and the seller. These codes are bar-codes, which contains product’s info regarding its manufacturing, price, unique id and so on.
Another factor which effected the sudden raise in the printed labels is that, today, everything is being managed by automated computer programs, there is no such manual list or data-sets, everything is being stored in databases, so, a label with its unique identity, is easy to fetch from the database of several thousands of such products, other information like manufacturing date, year can be used as the filter for such fetching operations. Label printing can be found with a paper, a metal label or it can be some digital label. Every product can be labeled with the respective kind of label, providing a method, by which the identification of the product can be made very simple and easy.
